The entire area is hundreds of miles of cotton fields. We were told the $20 a day covers 'wifi and parking'. Huh, that's weird, because nothing else they did even vaguely suggested they were concerned about the Pandemic.
They'll drop towels off at your door only if you call, and when you do call to ask for something as simple as tidying up the room, we were told 'there's a Pandemic going on'. The gym isn't open, which means no workout equipment, no sauna, and no pool, and housekeeping doesn't exist. Very poor hotel layout/design to have your guests be exposing to loud music. Apparently it was right above or next door to wherever the band was playing, but if you had any aspirations of going to bed prior to about 1-2 am or whenever the hell they stopped playing, well, you were out of luck, because you could hear every note that played at very high levels. Me Manifesto after spending 60 hours at the Horseshoe (Stayed March 24th-27th) : Hotel: Room was generally clean Was given second floor room.
